summer Ahmad, phd
Dr. Summer Ahmad earned her BS in Biochemistry (cum laude with honors) from University of Missouri- Columbia and her PhD in Medical Radiation Physics from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Her PhD dissertation work was performed at Washington University in St. Louis (2005-2008) and I also did a post-doctoral clinical training program at the University of Minnesota Medical Center from 2008-2010.
She previously was an Assistant Professor at University of Minnesota Medical School, a clinical physicist at Minneapolis VA Medical Center, and solo clinical medical physicist at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA. She worked as a Remote Medical Radiation Physicist for Crux Quality Solutions part time from 2015 - 2017. Dr. Ahmad currently conducts paper reviews for a physics journal, Medical Dosimetry, and is a Physics tutor. Dr. Ahmad resides in Columbia, MO with her husband and three sons. She served as PA President at her sons' school last year where she is an active volunteer.
On a Jamaat level, she served as the Health Secretary of Zion Jamaat and also Media Watch Secretary and Publications secretary for St. Louis Jamaat. Currently she is serving as General Secretary of St. Louis Jamaat, and is a member of AWSA and Media Watch.
