AhmAd Zeeshan Bhatti, PhD (Candidate)
Mr. Bhatti has been working as Deputy Director (Research) with Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources, Islamabad for 13 years. He is a seasoned Water Manager having water project design and implementation skills. Has a track record of achieving excellent results in irrigation water management and research dissemination. Has credit of implementing 8 water projects in different agro-climatic zones of Pakistan. The implemented projects included rainwater harvesting, gravity and pressurized irrigation systems, groundwater, wastewater management and research dissemination. His internationally collaborated project includes WWF, USAID, UNICEF, ICARDA and University of Washington etc. His works like introduction of climate smart technologies in northern areas of Pakistan and irrigation advisory services for farmers is getting world’s appreciation. He has 17 national and international publications to his credit so far and is consultant water expert for the National Daily Dawn.
His academic record includes an M. Phil. Water Resources Management degree, from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, B.Sc. Agricultural Engineering degree from University of Agriculture Faisalabad and is presently pursuing PhD Environmental Sciences at University of Prince Edward Island, Canada since 2018. He also has numerous international certifications, including from Oracle Corporation USA, University of Western Australia Perth, USGS Water Science Center Tacoma and Hydrological Engineering Centre Davis California.
