Aziza rahman, PhD

Dr. Aziza Rahman is the eldest daughter of Professor Abdus Salam. She was born in Pakistan, but at the age of three she moved to the UK with her parents. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree and Doctorate in Biochemistry at the University of London  before moving to New York with her husband, where she worked as a research assistant in the Cancer Research Institute at Columbia University. She now resides in California and is a member of the Los Angeles Jama'at. She has served Lajna Ima'illah for many years at local, regional and national level, and is currently serving as National Naib Sadr and National Secretary Umoore Talibaat.
