muneeb sharif, BS (Candidate)

On a Jamaat level, Muneeb serves as Qaid Majlis Boston, Northeast Regional Motamid, and Regional Nazim Umoor-e-Tulaba. In the past he has had the honor of serving in multiple national teams as a part of MKA USA.

On an academic level, Muneeb is an Undergraduate Biology major at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He also works as a neurosurgery research assistant at the Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital - Shankar lab. He has worked on projects within the labs 2 major divisions: 

1) developing and advancing rapid molecular diagnostics for brain tumors;

 2) Understanding the molecular effects of macroscale forces on degenerative spinal diseases. He has received co-authorship on one manuscript submitted for publication and has authored one submitted abstract. He hopes to pursue a research career, either through a Ph.D. or M.D., Ph.D.

On a personal level, Muneeb enjoys reading and networking with career mentors.
