Chairul Bahri, phd
Dr. Chairul Bahri lives in Marietta, Georgia, United States of America. He received his Ph. D. degree in physics with a minor in computer science from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA. Currently, he is an assistant professor of physics at Kennesaw State University, Georgia, USA. In addition to teaching responsibilities at KSU, his research interest in many-body nuclear physics remains intact, even during his career as a risk management officer and a quant (in financial industry) prior to his return to academia at KSU. His contributions to nuclear SU(3) model with its extension, Sp(3,R) model, laid the foundation of symmetry-adapted no core shell model in atomic nuclei. Additionally, it has been used in various calculations of energy spectra in light, medium, and heavy mass nuclei.
