Karim Sharif, PhD
Dr. Karim Sharif is a Professor of Biology at Massasoit Community College. Prior to obtaining his PhD from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY), he attended Talimul Islam College in Rabwah, Forman Christian College in Lahore, and Hunter College, CUNY. His current research focuses on the comparative genomic analysis among Drosophila (Fruit Fly) species. He has published a broad range of articles in esteemed journals and has a keen interest in promoting scientific education, something he attributes to the vision and directive of His Holiness, Hadhrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad, the third Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (may Allah be pleased with him). Dr. Sharif has served the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in various capacities. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of the Association of Ahmadi Muslim Scientists (AAMS-USA). Locally, he serves as the President of the Boston Chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA.
